Everything in this course is free
You never need to pay to finish this course. The "Getting good on YouTube" track needs no account at all. Every Videxa activity in this track, "How to use Videxa", works on the Free plan.
This lesson shows you how much AI help you get each day on the Free plan, and how to make it last.
Daily usage, in plain words
Daily usage is how much AI help Videxa can give you in one day. Three things share it: Ask, the chat that knows your channel; writing, when Write turns your notes into titles, a description, hashtags and tags; and the planner, when it makes your 2-week plan.
It resets every night at 12:00 AM India time. Usage you do not use today does not carry over to tomorrow.
A long question, a long chat or a long answer uses more than a short, clear question.
Opening Today uses none of it, so your morning check never eats into your usage.
Where to see it
Open Settings, then the "Plan & usage" tab. On a phone, tap More, then Settings. Under "Today", a bar shows "Daily usage, shared by writing, Ask Videxa and the planner" with a percentage, and a line says when it resets, such as "Resets at 12:00 AM (India time), in 6 h 20 min." On the Free plan, "Ask Videxa questions today" counts your questions too.
Ask and Write also warn you quietly once 80% or more is used, with a line such as "20% of today's allowance left. Back to full at 12:00 AM." When you reach a limit, a card says exactly when it comes back and keeps what you typed. Under "Still open right now", it lists what keeps working, such as your 2-week plan, the Calendar, Channel stats and everything in Write's "Recent" tab.
What uses daily usage
These all use it:
What does not use it
These cost nothing, so use them freely:
A calm way to use it
Save ideas with "Plan" while you are still deciding. Use one Write session per video, when the video is nearly ready, and then fix the words by hand. A title you edit yourself is often better than a fifth try.
Keep Ask questions short and specific: one video, one question. If your usage runs out early, take it as a sign to close the app and film or edit. Your video is the real work. Videxa only helps with ideas, planning and metadata.
What the Free plan includes
On the Free plan you get:
Your emails and your data
To change or stop brief emails, use the "Morning brief" tab in Settings, or the "Stop these emails" link in any brief. (More in "Your 5-minute morning with Today".)
To take your channel out of Videxa, open the Channel page and scroll to the end of the "Overview" tab. Tap "Remove channel". Videxa asks you to confirm first. If you confirm, Videxa stops tracking the channel, and it leaves Today, your calendar and your plan. Your YouTube channel itself is not touched, because Videxa never changes anything on YouTube, and you can add the channel again later from the channel menu.
The end of this track
This is the last lesson in "How to use Videxa". A free certificate for this track is available once you have answered every self-check in the track correctly.
If you have not done the "Getting good on YouTube" track yet, start there next. It ends with your own 30-day plan, and it needs no account.
Do
- Check "Plan & usage" in Settings in the evening for a few days, to learn what a normal day looks like for you.
- Tap "Plan" on ideas you like, and write metadata only when the video is nearly ready.
- Edit Videxa's titles by hand for small changes, instead of writing again.
Don't
- Do not tap "Write title and description" just to see what an idea looks like. Every write uses daily usage, so save ideas with "Plan" until you are ready.
- Do not keep getting brief emails you never read. Set the brief to "Off" and open Today when you like.
- Do not pay anyone who promises that YouTube will recommend your videos more because you paid.
Three evenings with your usage
- For three normal days, use Videxa the way you usually would.
- Each evening, open Settings, then the "Plan & usage" tab. On a phone, tap More, then Settings.
- On paper, note the daily usage percentage and what you used Videxa for that day. For example: "2 Ask questions and 1 Write".
- After the third evening, read your notes. What used the most? Did you write metadata for an idea you were not ready to film?
- Write your own calm routine in one line. For example: "Today each morning, Plan instead of Write until I am ready, one Write session per video, Ask when I am stuck."
